Author, That's What She Said: What Men Need to Know (and Women Need to Tell Them) About Working Together; former chief content officer and editor-in-chief of USA Today
Joanne Lipman is author of That's What She Said: What Men Need to Know (and Women Need to Tell Them) About Working Together. A veteran journalist, she most recently was Chief Content Officer of Gannett, and Editor in Chief USA TODAY and the USA TODAY NETWORK, comprising the flagship title and 109 other news organizations including the Detroit Free Press, the Cincinnati Enquirer, and the Arizona Republic. Ms. Lipman began her career as a reporter at The Wall Street Journal, ultimately rising to Deputy Managing Editor, creating Weekend Journal and Personal Journal, and supervising coverage that earned three Pulitzer Prizes. New York Times media columnist David Carr described her as the Journal's "innovator-in-chief." She subsequently was founding Editor-in-Chief of Conde Nast Portfolio and Portfolio.com, which won National Magazine and Loeb Awards. She is a frequent television commentator, seen on CNN, NBC, CNBC, and CBS, among others, and her work has appeared in publications including The New York Times, Time, Newsweek and Harvard Business Review. She is also co-author of the critically acclaimed musical memoir Strings Attached.

Professor Finkelstein has published 20 books and 80 articles, with several bestsellers, including Why Smart Executives Fail. The Wall Street Journal called it “a marvel – a jargon-free business book based on serious research that offers genuine insights with clarity and sometimes even wit.” His latest book is SUPERBOSSES: How Exceptional Leaders Master the Flow of Talent. The result of a ten-year research project, Superbosses profiles leaders as diverse as Julian Robertson, Alice Waters, and Lorne Michaels who all have one thing in common – they helped spawn some of the best talent in their industries. The book describes what they did and how they did it, offering teachable lessons for leaders of any organization.
Professor Finkelstein is a consultant and speaker to senior executives around the globe, as well as an executive coach, focusing on leadership, talent development, corporate governance, learning from mistakes, and strategies for growth. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Management and listed on the “Thinkers 50”, the world's most prestigious ranking of leadership gurus. He has been featured in the Financial Times, the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, Harvard Business Review, Business Week, the London Times, Toronto Globe and Mail, Inc, Fast Company, and CNBC, and is a regular columnist for the BBC.

Commander, U.S. Marine Corps Forces Cyberspace Command
Major General Reynolds was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in May 1986 upon graduating from the United States Naval Academy. Throughout her career she has served in a variety of command and staff billets in the operating forces. As a Lieutenant, she served as a Communications Watch Officer at the Base Communication Center, and later returned to the Division Communications Company where she served as a Communication Center Platoon Commander, Multichannel Platoon Commander, Operations Officer, and Radio Officer. As a Captain and Major, she served with Marine Wing Communications Squadron 18, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing Okinawa, Japan as a Detachment Alpha Executive Officer and Commanding Officer. She served with the Ninth Communication Battalion, 1st Surveillance, Reconnaissance, and Intelligence Group as the Assistant Operations Officer and Commanding Officer, Bravo Company. As a Lieutenant Colonel, she commanded Ninth Communication Battalion, I MEF and deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom II in Fallujah, Iraq. As a Colonel, she commanded I MEF Headquarters Group and deployed the Group to Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan in support of I MEF FWD/Regional Command Southwest in Helmand Province during Operation Enduring Freedom. She recently served as the Commanding General, Marine Corps Recruit Depot/Eastern Recruiting Region, Parris Island, SC.
In the Supporting Establishment, she has served as an Acquisition Project Officer at the Marine Corps Systems Command, Candidate Platoon Commander for Charlie Company, Officer Candidate School, Commanding Officer of Recruiting Station Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, an Action Officer and Deputy Division Head for Strategic Plans Division, Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4) Department, Headquarters Marine Corps and as Division Chief (J6) at the Joint Staff in the Pentagon. Her most recent assignment was as the Principal Director (Asia & Pacific), Office of the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (Asia & Pacific).Her professional military education includes the United States Naval Academy, The Basic School, the Basic Communication Officer’s Course, Command and Control Systems Course, the Navy War College and the Army War College. She has earned Masters Degrees from both the Naval War College and the Army War College.
Her personal decorations include the Defense Superior Service Medal, Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal (with gold star), the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (with gold star).

Jennifer Holland T'12, Vice President, EY-Parthenon
As an investment director in Equity Product Management at Wellington Management, Gardiner works closely with investors to help ensure the integrity of the investment approaches. This includes meeting with investment teams on a regular basis and overseeing portfolio positioning, performance, and risk exposures, as well as developing new products and client solutions and managing business issues such as capacity, fees, and guidelines. He also participates in meetings with clients, prospects, and consultants to communicate investment philosophy, strategy, positioning, and performance.
Prior to joining Wellington Management in 2012, Gardiner spent three years at Cambridge Associates (2007 – 2010), most recently as a senior associate team leader within the consulting group.
Gardiner earned his MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College (2012), as well as his BA in history from Bowdoin College (2006). Additionally, he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Boston.
As a Vice President at EY-Parthenon, Jen serves clients in the consumer and private equity practices. Her work includes growth strategy development, due diligence services, and consumer segmentation/ go-market strategy development across consumer sectors such as: beauty / personal care products, food and beverage, retail, health & wellness, apparel and accessories, restaurants and consumer services.
Prior to joining Parthenon in 2012, Jen spent four years working at Boston Art Consulting, a corporate art consulting firm located in Boston, MA as the Director of Operations.
Jen earned her MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth (2012), as well as her BA in Art History modified with Economics, from Dartmouth College (2006).
Renata Watts T'12, Director of Operations, Pat Deegan
Topher Watts T'11, Associate Director of Development, Dartmouth College
Renata and Topher Watts balanced dual careers for three years and have been juggling careers and kids ever since. After starting post-MBA career paths at Amazon and Fidelity respectively, they elected to move to the Upper Valley to raise their family. Topher had relocated 18 times in 12 years, Renata had immigrated twice, and both were ready to settle into a quieter routine. Four years of fresh air and two beautiful children later, they're happy to be a part of this special community. Topher currently works at Dartmouth College, where he is an associate director of development. Ren works remotely for Pat Deegan, a health care company in Boston, where she is the Director of Operations. They both received their MBAs from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. Renata received her undergraduate degree in journalism from Ryerson University in Toronto. Topher received his undergraduate degree in Politics from Princeton University.
April Salas, Executive Director of the Revers Center for Energy, Tuck School of Business
Zach Salas, MD Candidate, Dartmouth College, Geisel School of Medicine, former Naval Aviator
Zach and April Salas moved to the Upper Valley in 2016 so that Zach could pursue his second career as a doctor. While a medical student at Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine, April is the Executive Director at Tuck’s Revers Center for Energy. They have three amazing kids - ages 13, 6, and 4 – and their little Havanese, Bella, that keep them busy outside of work and school. They have balanced dual careers for nearly 10 years. Zach was a fighter pilot in the U.S. Navy, serving multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, with over 65 combat missions, and was head of special operations planning at the US European Command. April comes to Tuck with 15 years of public and private sector experience in global and domestic energy project- and international-development experience. Starting her career in energy finance, she worked as a consultant in mid-/downstream oil and gas projects in Africa, as well as, an energy markets analysis covering Europe and Latin America. She has held various senior positions within the US Department of Energy in power delivery, energy reliability and systems analysis, and just prior to joining Tuck, she directed the White House’s Quadrennial Energy Review Task Force Secretariat. Zach graduated from Florida State University with a degree in chemistry, he holds a master’s degree in international relations, and is entering his third year of medical school at Dartmouth. April earned her MBA from Cornell University; she holds two master’s degrees, in international security and economics, with a focus on energy poverty and development, and a BA from the College of William and Mary. Their family of five are avid snowboarders!
Daniella Reichstetter T'07
Adjunct Professor; Executive Director of Entrepreneurship, Center for Private Equity and Entrepreneurship, Tuck School of Business
Daniella Reichstetter is the Executive Director of Entrepreneurship at the Center for Private Equity and Entrepreneurship and Adjunct Professor at the Tuck School of Business. She joins Tuck with 15 years of experience running various divisions of early stage consumer companies. She was the founder and CEO of Gyrobike (a Thayer technology), an early hire at Method, Jetboil and Belcampo, and an early stage business consultant. Prior to entrepreneurship, she was an investment banker. She is on the Board of Directors of the San Francisco Wholesale Produce Market and Blackbird Guitar.
Daniella graduated cum laude from Georgetown University with a BS in Spanish and Business. She received her MBA from Tuck, where she was the recipient of the Arnold F. Adams, Jr. award for Excellence in Entrepreneurship.

Sara Spivey T'89
Chief Marketing Officer, Bazaarvoice
As Chief Marketing Officer, Sara Spivey is responsible for overall leadership of Bazaarvoice’s global marketing programs, including demand generation, product marketing, brand strategy, and communications.
Sara has more than 30 years of marketing, strategy, and leadership experience with industry-leading organizations. Before joining Bazaarvoice, Sara served as CEO of InReach, a provider of online continuing education management solutions, a role preceded by her tenure as chief marketing officer for Convio. Prior to that she was vice president, Marketing and Business Development at rPath, Inc. and earlier served as vice president, Worldwide Sales, Strategic Account Alliance Development for Advanced Micro Devices. Sara began her career with Hewlett-Packard before joining Quantum Corporation, where she held a number of roles including vice president, Marketing for the Network Attached Storage Division.
Active in the Austin community, Sara serves on the Austin Chamber of Commerce board of directors and previously served as the vice chairman of the board of directors for Girlstart from 2010 – 2016. She is an Adjunct Professor in The Bill Munday School of Business at St. Edwards University. She is a graduate of the University of California, Davis, and earned an MBA from The Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College.
In her spare time, Sara enjoys hiking (especially with her dogs), foreign travel, and exploring new food trucks in Austin
Director of Alumni Engagement, Tuck School of Business
Renée Hirschberg joined the Tuck School of Business as Director of Alumni Engagement after five years at MIT Sloan where she led strategic engagement opportunities for all of the school’s graduate programs. Before her career switch to higher education eight years ago, Renée spent more than a decade in experiential marketing, creating and executing campaigns for companies ranging from TJ Maxx to Wrigley’s Gum and working with agencies such as Ogilvy and Mather. Renée is also the creator behind the popular blog, Eat.Live.Blog, which has an enthusiastic following amongst New England foodies.
Renée earned her EdM in Higher Education Administration from Boston University, and her BS in English and Creative Writing from Florida State University. She is originally from Dunedin, FL.

Frances leads our Global People Team, serving the Global People Chair across BCG's four regions. As part of this remit, she has overall accountability for Women@BCG.
Selected relevant experience in this role includes: creating the core strategy and overseeing execution for Women@BCG and People Teaming Open & Communications (PTO); developing priorities for our future HR strategy including diversity, the People Operating Model, strategic placements and other core topics; and implementing globally consistent programs and tracking results to ensure accountability.

Stephiney Foley T'18
MBA Candidate, Tuck School of Business
Stephiney Foley is second year student at Tuck. Prior to Tuck, she spent 7 ½ years as an active duty Army Officer deployed to multiple theatres conducting international security and humanitarian efforts in the Middle East and Asia. After her military transition, she spent some time working with startups in the bay area as an operations director. Stephiney spent her summer interning at Tesla as a strategy and operations consultant focusing her efforts on post model 3 expansion. During her semester abroad in Shanghai, she worked at IDEO as a business designer. After Tuck, Stephiney will be moving to Seattle with her partner, Harper and their 90 lb. Labradoodle, Kai. Stephiney graduated with honors from the United States Military Academy at West point with a BS in Organizational Behavior and Environmental Engineering. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors with her dog, discussing new business ideas, and eating at exotic locations.
